Patented body construction process uses a network of robots and optical sensors to assemble vehicle bodies with amazing precision. IBAS produces and verifies each body assembly to identical tolerances.
Weld-bonding (structural adhesive) is used around all door openings, inner fenders, and other major body panels, enhancing structural rigidity.
Based on input from various sensors, VDC helps maintain vehicle directional stability by controlling the amount of engine power and/or applying brake pressure to individual wheels as needed.
Power-assist results in less driver effort during stopping. 4-wheel disc brakes dissipate heat more rapidly than disc/drum combinations for improved stopping action, less brake fade, and longer brake life.
As the load in the vehicle increases, EBD applies more brake pressure to the rear brakes.
